Mapping of Areas with Heavy Braking

  • The Mapping of Areas with Heavy Braking service is added to an existing ITP-WebService contract to support even safer operation.
  • As of September 2015, about 60,000 units from the Fujitsu DTS-C1 Series and DTS-D1 Series of networked digital tachographs are in operation in Japan. This service collects their data on heavy braking in real time and analyzes and identifies danger zones.
  • When a vehicle enters a danger zone, the digital tachograph automatically issues a voice warning to urge the driver to drive safely.
